Gary Udell
Co-Owner
Gary is the President to the firm and is very well known throughout the industry. He had the honor of being elected as the first representative from a sales agency to serve on the PBA’s (Professional Beauty Association) Manufacturer’s Leadership Council. Prior to that, he was of the only rep principal to serve four years at the Beauty and Barber Institute with major manufacturers and beauty distributors. He is the author of industry articles and has frequently participated in various industry panels and interviews. Gary oversees the management of Gerry Udell, Inc. and works with the sales reps on key accounts. What is your favorite Sports Team? NY Yankees.
What is your favorite city in the Northeast? Boston (I am still a Yankee fan!).

Why do you love the beauty industry? Still one of the most exciting and innovative industries with unique and wonderful people. The beauty industry has been very good to my family.
Best experience in the industry? Working with entrepreneurial people to build successful companies.
Changes in the industry? Our company has been successful for six decades. You have to embrace change as well as trying to be creative in instituting change.
Who is your hero? My father. Thanks to our father who laid the foundation of our company, we were able to live the American dream. He was a true entrepreneur who took risks.
College? Rutgers University. I was lucky that it provided me with a great education both academically and socially.

Glenn Udell
Co-Owner
As Co-Principal of the firm, Glenn is recognized throughout the industry as one of the hardest working rep principals in the country. Glenn has helped pioneer much of the company’s accounts and territories and is credited with directing much of the growth of the company. Gerry Udell
Gerry Udell has officially been with the company 14 years, although he has spent his life growing up in the industry. Gerry has developed robust relationships with both the manufacturers and distributors in the territory. He currently calls on accounts in the New York/New Jersey area and oversees the entire group operations. Gerry graduated from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) - Isenberg School of Management with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Prior to working with the company, he gained invaluable sales experience with Jones Lang LaSalle in Commercial Real Estate Brokerage. Why do you love the beauty industry? The Beauty Industry is an exciting industry made up of great people. I enjoy working with the distributors and representing the brands in our portfolio. With new products and innovations, the industry continues to keep me motivated!

Pam has been with Gerry Udell, Inc. since 2001. She is very well known by our customers and manufacturers for her incredible product knowledge, follow up and her friendly demeanor. She also manages the office, company computer systems and website. Pam has been instrumental in developing our order entry system which has proved to be a valuable tool for our manufacturers and customers. She also coordinates Cosmoprof show. Bill Becker
Bill covers most of Pennsylvania, all of MD, NJ and Northern VA. Bill joined the company over 19 years ago. His previous duties as a sales manager for a well-known manufacturer, as well as his experience working for a distributor, have helped him become a very successful and productive representative for the Gerry Udell, Inc. Mark Richman
Mark is from a Beauty Industry family, as he's third generation in the Beauty Business and grew up working for his family's Full Service Distributorship in Dayton, Ohio. In 1991, he moved to NJ to work as a manufacturers rep. Mark's experience of working for distributors and calling on salons gives him a unique perspective as a Manufacturer's Representative. Mark has achieved numerous awards from opening new accounts, sales growth, beating sales goals and excels in his ability to grow the business and sales. Miriam Udell
Miriam has been involved in the Professional Beauty Industry since 1976, when she was employed at Revlon Professional Products. Married to Glenn since 1982, Miriam was a stay-at-home mom in order to raise her sons. She was very active in their schools, sports and support activities. Upon returning to the work force, Miriam worked as a Teaching Assistant for learning challenged students. She joined the staff of Gerry Udell, Inc. in 2010.
