The company was founded by Gerry Udell in 1961 and has a rich history of success and a proud legacy.
Gerry’s hard work and perseverance laid the foundation that the company is built on today. His professionalism and code of ethics will always remain the guiding light for the company. Upon Gerry’s passing, his two sons, Gary and Glenn assumed responsibility of the company. They are both actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Gerry Udell, the grandson of the founder joined the company in 2010, making this the only sales agency in the Beauty Industry that has passed a baton to the third generation.
Over the years, Gerry Udell, Inc. has won numerous beauty sales and marketing awards and is proud to have pioneered many of today's successful products. Both Gary and Glenn are well known and respected figures in the industry. Gary is the only active principal of a professional beauty sales agency to serve on the Beauty and Barber Supply Institute an organization which consisted of leading distributors and manufacturers. He was also the first rep elected the Manufacturers leadership Council of the PBA. (Professional Beauty Association)
